Holy Rocka Rollaz A premier Early American Rock 'n' Roll band Saturday, Oct 6th - 7:30 pm Wadena Memorial Auditorium Holy Rocka Rollaz We started out as a prison ministry band in 2003. We did that a few times a year until 2009...then the rock 'n' roll bug bit us. We harnessed our mutual love of rockabilly and 50s rock 'n' roll, coined ourselves The Holy Rocka Rollaz and...nobody would hire us. So we started playing car shows for free with an open guitar case in the streets of North St. Paul. It was a blast! Then, band leader, Mark Flora lost his job in 2013. It was then he realized it was his destiny to be a rock star. Either he found his true calling or he was seriously deluded in the midst of a mid-life crisis. Though all the doubters around him encouraged him to hang up his guitar, change his band's name, quit dreaming...he hung in there. With supermodel wife, Lisa Lynn, on vocals/stand up bass and firecracker drummer Matt Alexander, The Holy Rocka Rollaz established themselves as a premier Early American Rock n' Roll band. By studying the greats Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, early Elvis Patsy Cline, Gene Vincent, Stray Cats) they crafted a powerful sound that took the Upper Midwest by storm For further information please contact Bonnie Kingsley 218-371-9487
