Central MN Council on Aging is seeking a 40hr/wk. Senior LinkAge Line Advocate Responsibilities are to assist older adults and family caregivers providing one-to-one assistance in helping evaluate their situation, locate appropriate community services and connect them to community resources and supports. A major part of this position is to provide in-depth Medicare and benefits counseling and forms assistance in applying for financial assistance programs. Training will be provided to have a thorough understanding of Medicare and supplemental programs. This position will cover Crow Wing, Cass, and Wadena Counties and will be located in Brainerd. BA/BS in Social Work, nursing or other related social service. Salary range: $17.50-19.38 per hour plus mileage and benefits.
