APPRAISER/RECORDS SPECIALIST Responsible to support the functions and staff of the Wadena County Assessor's Department by classifying property utilizing multiple applications, answering phone calls, customer service and generating and submitting reports to the MN Department of Revenue by statutory deadlines. $17.91 to $24.42 per hour; Starting wage dependent on qualifications APPRAISER - ACCREDITED MINNESOTA ASSESSOR Responsible to determine equitable appraisal values and appropriate classification for ali real and personal property for Ad Valorem real estate tax assessment purposes. Verifies and processes all property transactions, develops reports from compiled data, and performs other tasks as assigned for the Wadena County Assessor's Department. SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri; 8:00am to 4:30pm. WAGE RANGE: $21.47 to $29.27 per hour. CHIEF DEPUTY ASSESSOR Independently physically inspects properties to determine equitable appraisal values and appropriate classification for all real and personal property for tax assessment purposes, as well as coordinates any new programs from the Minnesota Department Revenue and/ or state law changes. The Chief Deputy maintains the CAMA system, attends seminars, workshops, and Region VII meetings, and verifies and processes all property transactions and develops reports from compiled data. SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri; 8:00am to 4:30pm WAGE RANGE: $22.78 to $31.04 per hour ASSISTANT COUNTY ENGINEER Manages the development and implementation of highway construction projects, including road and bridge projects, and supervising staff and contractors in the design, construction, and maintenance of roads and bridges. Assists in supervision of Wadena County Highway Department.
